The bride’s dream wedding would be a casual, vintage theme with the ceremony at a chapel and the reception in a gorgeous prairie barn.
I met Jim and Kari in Denton from church and had a sneaky suspicion that they were destined to get married.
When they got engaged, Kari sweetly asked me if I’d design their wedding invitations. She showed me her ideas for the wedding decor and I new we’d be a great team.
Kari brought out a stash of textured burlap and yards of vintage lace and trim. I knew that would be the perfect combination for the invitation design.
We collaborated on the initial layout and wording and came up with something that perfectly represented the look at feel of their country wedding.
They also wanted a unique way for guests to sign in. This creative solution was gorgeous. Guests left their thumbprint in various colors to represent balloons lifting up a tandem bicycle. I designed the print for the couple to keep in their home as a keepsake.
Congratulations to Jim and Kari!
